Friends of Brendi,
I became her greatest fan in 2004 at a conference held in Texas.
I was enthralled with the style of delivery of her spiritually and emotionally beautiful poetry. We spent a long time at that conference getting to know one another.
When I was organizing the 2017 eclipse conference in Missouri, she was the first person I called to talk her into coming to the conference and performing her amazing art. She amazed us all, and I believe she met Sonny there.
The icing on the cake was at Walowa. I still bask in the memory of her poetry and our personal sharing.
I can't wait to see and share her book of poetry. I so look forward to seeing her again.
Here is a poem I wrote for her and sent to her after her diagnosis:
Brendi,
Your time as a mortal of the realm is short
But the gratitude of sonship with God is the import
On and on you will go
Regardless of the turmoil down here below
The trail of goodness left behind
Has enriched us all even all humankind
With the certainty of your faith
In truth and beauty you have bathed
Although you depart so soon
Your memory and the poetry are a boon
To all who remember your talent and hope
We will recall your contribution of trope
Too soon, too soon we all want more
you have so much to offer with poetry galore
We have all been in gratitude to know you well
And wish you the best in our fond farewell.

My family,
Most all of you know Brendi. Her wonderful poetry has brought several of us closer to God. When one can express so deeply their relationship with Spirit, you know they walk a clear path towards our Father's will. Brendi is such a sister.
Her and Sunny, the love of her life, are being faced with a new challenge. Brendi has stage four liver cancer. She starts treatment this Monday. Please keep her and Sunny, in your thoughts and prayers. She would love to hear from you.
I am attaching a poem she made with Mom regarding Her Spirit. :) Diane LaBrecque had asked her to gift us with a picture of how wonderful Mom is a few years ago. This is her gift. Please pass this along.
Love you all so much, and even more, realizing how quickly each of us will proceed more completely into the Father's embrace. We are an incredible, undefinable, powerful group of God's children, and I am so thankful you are all in my life.
Love Tom
