The Urantia Book Fellowship's Summer study session 2025

Hotel registration is closed but you can still register as a commuter.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

From July 30 - Aug 02, The Urantia Book Fellowship will be presenting “Partnership with God: Day by Day” at Unity Village just outside Kansas City, Missouri.

Unity Village is an inspiring conference center, with a newly remodeled Inn on site, a beautiful auditorium, gracious dining and social areas, high-tech breakout rooms, a nature walk, exquisite gardens, intimate chapels, a labyrinth, and many spaces for reflection, communion, and relationship building. We have caterers lined up to prepare outstanding food for us.

The hotel at Unity Village Inn is sold out, but we have a contract for additional hotel space at the Holiday Inn in Lee's Summit.  The Holiday Inn is 1.5 miles from the Unity Village campus and round trip Uber vouchers will be provided to assist with transportation. Complete the hotel registration to secure a room at the Holiday Inn.

The campus also has an Airbnb on site that groups are welcome to book.

The Education Committee’s Conference Planning Team is working to ensure all participants have a memorable experience. Plenaries will have, as usual, exceptional speakers and there will inspiring presenters offering a choice of workshops.

ABOUT THE THEME

God is our eternal, spiritual partner! Originating as a 13th century hymn, and later used as the theme song in the theatrical play titled, Godspell, the song “Day by Day” is the theme we have chosen for SSS25 because it provides three key ideas of how to partner with God.

The words in the song are: “Day by day, day by day, oh dear lord three things I pray, to see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, follow thee more nearly.” Each day the plenary talks and workshops of the conference will center around one of these three ideas.

Day 1: See thee more clearly. To see God more clearly, we must deepen our understanding of who God is. From the Foreword to the last Paper of The Urantia Book, The Faith of Jesus, we are presented with many ways to see and understand who God is: the I AM, the Universal Father, the Supreme Being, the Creator, our friend, our mentor, our partner.

Day 2: Love thee more dearly. What does it mean to love God? How do we grow our love for God? How do we show our love for God? We pray and worship, but what are prayer and worship? What does it mean to live as if we are in the presence of God? How did Jesus show his love for God?

Day 3: Follow thee more nearly. Jesus said that if you have seen him (Jesus), you have seen the Father. What does that mean? How did Jesus follow God? Must we minister to others to truly follow God? If so, how? Is following God in our mind enough, or do we need to follow God in our behavior? How do we show others who God is?

The Urantia Book says the best way to become a frog is to be a loyal tadpole each day, or “day by day.” 100:1.4 (1094.4) Come to the conference and let’s explore how to be a better partner with God and how to be a better partner to our brothers and sisters. We hope you will join us in a worshipful experience growing our understanding of Partnership with God: Day by Day.

We hope to see you at Unity Village end of July 2025!
