14. What is a thought adjuster?
Thought Adjusters, also referred to as the Divine Indweller and the Mystery Monitor, are fragments of the infinite and perfect God. They dwell within the human mind and help each human being find God and true spiritual values. They are our internal homing instinct, an internal compass that faithfully guides us back to our source. The concept of a soul and of an indwelling spirit is not new to us; it has frequently appeared in the various belief systems of humankind. Many of the Oriental as well as some of the Occidental faiths have perceived that man is divine in heritage and human in inheritance. The feeling of the inner presence of the divine has long been recognized by religions. Human beings have long believed that there is something growing within human nature, something vital that is destined to endure beyond the short span of temporal life. For instance, in the conception of the atman the Hindu teachers show an appreciation of the nature and presence of the Thought Adjuster. The Hebrews called attention to the “still small voice.” The Chinese also recognized two aspects of a human being, the yang and the yin, the soul and the spirit. The Egyptians and many African tribes also believed in two factors, the ka and the ba. Thought Adjusters are saturated with the beautiful and self-bestowing love of God, the Creator of spirits. They truly and divinely love human beings and long to deliver us from the limitations of material existence and the habiliments of time.

15. What is morontia?
Morontia is a term designating a vast level intervening between the material and the spiritual. It may designate personal or impersonal realities, living or nonliving energies. The warp of morontia is spiritual; its woof is physical. There is a reason we find it difficult to come to a more harmonious coordination between science and religion. It is due to our ignorance of the intervening domain of morontia. The universe actually consists of three degrees, or stages, of reality: matter, morontia, and spirit. Morontia (meaning akin to matter) creates a bridge between the physical sciences and the spirit functions of religion. Many human beings have recognized the need to reconcile the interplay between the widely separated domains of science and religion; and metaphysics has been the result. However, metaphysics cannot bridge that gulf like an understanding of morontia does.
