Don was a founding member of the Pilot Light Urantia Society of Seattle (PLUSS) and was a true leader within the Urantia community of the Pacific Northwest. He helped to create, write, and publish the PLUSS newsletter called Illuminations and was co-chair of the hugely successful regional gathering at Fort Warden in 1989 — The Artistry of Balance — where over 220 people attended. Don was a professional artist himself with a great sense of humor, a super bright mind, a passion for sports, and always in his heart was his loyal devotion to his family, being the father of two beautiful daughters. A brain tumor ended Don’s sojourn here on Urantia much too soon, but we know his keen morontia mind will be awaiting us on the Mansion Worlds where we can reminisce together of our wild and crazy evolutionary times and to continue our journey as eternal friends.
