Poem for Tristan by Karen Allen
I know I’ll see you once again in a far, far, far, off time, where life is beautiful
and there’s no more war and everything is fine
there’s love and compassion and health and joy
and you my sweetest, sweetest, little boy...
You are a wonder if mine!
My grandkids, if I have any will not know their uncle Tristan.
But they’ll hear the stories of this and that & know that we did miss him.
And I know I’ll see you once again, my son, my sweet, my little Tristan
you’ll probably seem much the same to us even though ...
A lifetime of miss’n
You brought us so much joy and mirth from the moment that I gave birth.
You were a jam packed cornucopia who made a difference on planet earth!
And just so you know, you’re grounded to the nursery worlds!
