International Association for Near Death Studies - Outreach Event

Our outreach team will be participating in the 2025 annual conference of the International Association for Near Death Studies, IANDS for short. The Outreach Committee has encountered a great deal of interest in the afterlife among those who are exploring Near Death studies and their meaning.  We believe that this group would be receptive to the vivid description of life beyond this world in The Urantia Book.  Furthermore, the Urantia teachings about love, forgiveness, mercy are quite consistent with many of the more profound impressions that near-death survivors retain.

The Outreach Committee will have a booth or table and are seeking additional volunteers (if interested, and if you will be in the Chicago area on dates).  Raymond Moody, MD, author of the 1975 Life after Life, which launched the field of near-death experience (NDE) research will be one of the keynote speakers at this conference so we are expecting good attendance.

Founded in 1981 IANDS is the first organization in the world devoted to exploring near-death and similar experiences, and supporting those who have had near-death experiences and those who care about them. Members are researchers, laypeople, academics, and caregivers; experiencers and non-experiencers; professionals and the general public; from every continent.
