Sounds of the Universe

In March, I was listening to National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” when this interesting segment came on:

NASA puts the sounds of the universe into a new album

Excerpt: What if, instead of seeing the universe as an explosion of light, we could hear it? That's where Kimberly Arcand, a visualization scientist and emerging tech lead for NASA's Chandra X-Ray Observatory, comes in. She's part of NASA's Sonification Project, an effort to turn data gathered from the universe into sounds, in part as a way to allow visually impaired people to experience the depths of our galaxy. 

"With excellent math," says Arcand, explaining their work on the high-pressure interplay between a supermassive black hole and the hot gas surrounding it, "you can figure out that [the pressure is] essentially a B-flat, about 57 octaves below middle C." 

The result of their research is: a new album, titled Universal Harmonies, with a beauty all its own.

The Path

To live life with honor
To know physical life and live it to the fullest
To have no fear, only caution
To be as aware, powerful and free as the eagle, and as harmless as the sparrow in the wood 
To be what I say I am
To have faith and love and live my beliefs
To find love, beauty, and goodness in the life we live–not just in one person, but in everyone. 
To personally feel connected to the world and Universe
To know that I am a human being with human traits, as well as endowed with a mind that can search for truth and God
To seek God and find him living next to the very center of my being
To become open and clear in mind and body
To let the illumination from the light of the spirit within move through me as light from the sun through an open and clear vessel, molding my life in its own fashion as it moves freely throughout my being.

To become a lantern alive with that light is a quest and a path
The path leads to Paradise, the center of the universe, where the inner you and the outer you move in such perfect harmony that there is no difference
The outer has become like the inner, and the inner like the outer; perfect harmony. 
To have faith in a living and loving universe of Infinite and Eternal life and light, and to know that we are not alone
To know and believe in your depths that you are loved and protected by the universe

I know we have help and are never alone
I can feel it every moment
I feel that inside of me there is more than I could ever know trying to help and heal me each moment of my life
It is the same outside also

Life is a grand romantic adventure, the grandest adventure of pure physical time
Just to live a life on this earth and survive is a quest and a journey

I love to learn, and all I have to do is be awake and aware to do that
Life is a learning and growing process, like a well-tended garden growing alive with color and life
The garden gives back when it has reached its ripeness
As we too learn, and then teach the good things we know of in our life’s growth

Remember, God in whatever form you see God in, loves you, and wants the best for you and me and all the universe’s children

I have one exercise I do each and every day, no matter what other exercises I do or don’t do
I do my best to become that open vessel that will let the light of Truth, Beauty and Goodness shine through me 
Sometimes I flow with grace, and sometimes I stumble in error
But with each step forward I move a little closer to the heart of the universe and home

And with each breath of air I breathe my Soul grows from the value of that breath in my life 

This is the eternal path of the Thread of Light, the moment of the “here and now.” 
And anyone can walk it; all you need is faith.

The Urantia Book - What is Revelation?

We have been working hard on a new presentation “A contemporary description of The Urantia Book for the zeitgeist.” It is our hope it proves helpful for more people to not only find the revelation, but also see the vital and growing importance of it.

I feel it is imperative for us to remember and trust that the authors of The Urantia Book saw not just “The Internet” or "AI,"  but they also anticipate coming events and technology we have yet to experience on this world.

Nonetheless, the revelation stands unperturbed and ready. The Urantia Book is the real path for truth seeking individuals, and the world at large - a path beyond this eroding, materialistic and secular maelstrom.
