Melchizedek Web Pages by Geoff Theiss We have noticed that there has been a disproportionately high amount of Google searches regarding Melchizedek recently. Curious, no? We thought so too, so our web content team developed a few web pages dedicated to Machiventa Melchizedek to guide website users into exploring who this amazing historical figure actually was and to invite them to further explore his story in The Urantia Book. Contributions to the project include some original Melchizedek art—inspired by The Urantia Book—by John Carlo Pellicciatta, shown below.

Looking at new activity from the launch of this project, the results have been very encouraging. In the week starting October 11, 2022 alone there were seventy-nine new users spending an average of two minutes and ten seconds on the site. (Remember when interpreting this number that if someone isn’t interested they spend about three seconds on the site so an average includes those brief looks.) If you are interested in checking out more from our web content team, also check out the Spiritual Growth Navigation web page.

Seed Sowing by Sheryl Bellman The Wild Goose Festival is an experience in seed sowing. The participants are mainly North Carolina residents, members of the liberal Protestant denominations including clergy. Social justice and tolerance are the prevailing values. I met many good people, with whom I was attempting to confirm truth, beauty, and goodness, talking about The Urantia Book as appropriate. It was particularly enjoyable to hang out with, and participate in a panel discussion with, my fellow Urantians!

Prayer and Worship Group by Chris Santana Greetings to my brothers and sisters who love The Urantia Book. My name is Chris Santana and I've been an active member of The Urantia Book community for over 40 years. For the past few years I have run a free outdoor lending library in the East Village of New York City where The Urantia Book is prominently displayed. It has proven to be a very effective method of introducing our book. In fact, the whole library could be considered a benevolent ruse for the dissemination of The Urantia Book. Folks take a look on their own, often take a card, and they take it from there or ask questions. Yet this is not the reason for my communication today. Today I am proposing to set a date and time....

Bridging the Gap
16-day gap between IC-23 and PoWR-23
by Thomas Pirie
In Chicago during the summer of 2023, the city and surroundings will host a number of spiritual conferences, presentations, workshops. The Urantia Book Fellowship will present the International Conference 2023 (IC 23) “Living the Teachings," from July 24th-28th. Sixteen days later the Parliament of World's Religions will host PoWR 2023, “Defending Freedom and Human Rights.” There will no doubt be other assemblies, small and large, in addition to and because of the PoWR.
There will also be pre-Parliament events. What is...
