Meeting ID: 848 7979 4730
On May 18, AD 30, at about 7:30 in the morning Jesus met with his apostles on the Mount of Olives. He spoke to them as they kneeled in a circle around him, and he bade them farewell. He then disappeared from their sight and ascended to the Father to receive formal recognition as the sovereign of his universe.
The apostles were somewhat bewildered and silent as Jesus spoke, but later that day the promised Spirit of Truth came upon them and upon the whole earth. They went out with power to preach the gospel. These things they saw and experienced with great joy, but little could they imagine that in this same short time period, Michael was enthroned as a Master Son on Salvington. His Proclamation of Equality with the Universe Mother Spirit went forth to all the universe of Nebadon–the Jubilee of Jubilees.

International Fellowship Committee
by Jack Holloway
This is the first of a monthly column dedicated to the The Urantia Book Fellowship’s International Fellowship Committee (IFC).
This article will describe the Latin American Subcommittee (LASC), which was formed within the IFC in September 2020. The basic idea was that the LASC would be created to make contact with Spanish-speaking readers around the globe. The subcommittee would be in charge of identifying one leader per Spanish-speaking country who would be willing to join our organization and who has the necessary skills, motivation, and dedication to follow the guidelines we propose in order to create and coordinate initiatives that stimulate the dissemination of the teachings of The Urantia Book in the country where they are located.
The LASC was created as an extension of the already existing Area Coordinator/Field Worker program being revived by Ted Blaney and others.
Two members of the IFC with the proper language skills were chosen to lead this group: Pablo Segovia, as Chairperson, and Jack Holloway, as Secretary. To date the LASC has established Area Coordinators in nine Central and South American countries as well as Mexico and Spain. With carefully regulated financing by the IFC, and supplemented by the Pipeline of Light and the newly constituted Second Miler Grant Program, several of these new Area Coordinators have successfully carried out programs of their own design in one or more of the following areas:
o Delivery of The Urantia Book to individual readers
o National and international conferences
o Book fairs
o Delivery of The Urantia Book on consignment in the major bookstores and libraries in each area
o Displays in public places with banners and printed materials to introduce El Libro de Urantia
o Creation of audiovisual content that supports the dissemination of The Urantia Book
o The creation and encouragement of study groups
For the study groups, the LASC has made available several Zoom accounts, presently hosting online study groups for every level of reader. In addition the IFC, through the LASC, has supported Radio Urantia and Urantia TV which are reaching Spanish-speaking audiences worldwide.

Interviews with Readers from Forum Families
and a Reflection on Fifth Epochal Families
by Michael MacIsaac
I've interviewed four beautiful souls who had the privilege of being raised in some of the first reader families [families of readers of The Urantia Book]. Jeff Bedell, Larry Bowman, John Hales, and Sandy Powell were all introduced to the Urantia Papers in the early 1950s before The Urantia Book was published. As teenagers, their parents brought them to the secret Sunday meetings they were attending at 533 Diversey Parkway in Chicago, IL. Sandy attended the meetings with her parents and the others would often read the papers on their own.
Larry Bowman says he's quite certain he and the other three are the only readers alive today who were introduced to the Urantia Papers before publication of The Urantia Book...

A Tribute to Thích Nhất Hạnh (1926-2022)by Dana C. White, PhD
A Tribute to Thích Nhất Hạnh [pronounced like tick-not-hahn], one of the great Buddhist teachers of our time, was produced by the Myth Salon host, Dana C. White, PhD, with Dr. Gard Jameson as facilitator, on January 26, 2022.
I, Dana, am honored to have had some small role in bringing this program together. Of course there is a profound debt of gratitude for the life and substance of Thích Nhất Hạnh. Yet, how each of us is affected by his life and passing is also a measure of how each is wonderfully implicated in the lives of one another through the inter-penetrating nature of how these things work. I will forever process my memories of Thích Nhất Hạnh through the lens of having participated in our gathering.

Inevitabilities of Character Growth (Part 3 of 3)
by Derek Samaras and Chuck Thurston
In this, the third and final episode of our study of the inevitable difficulties of evolutionary life, we focus more fully on the positive outcomes of character growth that follow in the wake of overcoming these difficulties. The story of “The Young Man Who Was Afraid” [in The Urantia Book] is a perfect example of this. After counseling this depressed and discouraged young man with inspiring words of spiritual truth, Jesus could truly describe his transformation by saying: “You have been born again—born of the spirit—and henceforth will your whole life become one of victorious accomplishment. Trouble will invigorate you; disappointment will spur you on; difficulties will challenge you; and obstacles will stimulate you.” [130:6.4 (1438.1)]
We learn that even secular education should pay more attention to character growth, and recognize that its highest purpose is the development of a “majestic and well-balanced personality.” [195:10.17 (2086.3)] This great goal includes the achievement of the final three qualities of character that are associated with the inevitabilities [of 3:5.5 (51.4)]: loyalty, unselfishness, and the satisfaction of happiness. We conclude this series with a close look at these three highly desirable, but sometimes difficult, accomplishments of growth.

The Three Day Express
by Richard E. Warren
Father please, take me swiftly to that mansion shore, How I long to dance, on the Sea of Glass. To breathe heaven’s air, in three days, not more, Take me quickly to my sweet love, that dear lass.
There to be ever young, where no one dies, To roam the worlds, and learn anew, The truths of life, to see with clear eyes, To receive your many gifts, not just a few.
Urantia I love, cherish, and adore, Its sun, clouds, and lightning I do enjoy, Still Lord, I long for that mansion shore, Where our bodies, time cannot destroy.
Please Father, I earnestly implore, That you carry my soul, to mansion one, By your express, in three days, not more, However I die, thanks for making me, your son.

We Are Not Alone
by Bruce Jackson
We are not alone. We are not without purpose. We are not orphans.
We all have meaning. We are given assignments that give us purpose.
Each day when we wake, stretching before us are our opportunities.
And as we work through each day, our angels aid us in our assignments.
Each evening when we lay down on our beds, we shall give thanks to our God.
And twenty-four seven our Father’s indweller will whisper our next step.
But do we listen to that quiet voice within? Or do we ignore God’s instruction from the perfection within us? What happens when we fail to hear God’s Will for us?
Personally, I tend to fail to listen more often than not. I find this to be a sad thing indeed, for I am not alone!

Unity of Thought
by Sheila Keene-Lund
I am about two months away from finishing my second book, Unity of Thought, and I am super excited! As I near the end of my writing, I am also provocatively aware of how relevant the contents of this book are to today's confused and fragmented world.
We are moving towards an era where we can identify ourselves as citizens of the universe rather than of the world. We are about to end the cosmological estrangement of modern consciousness and instead embark upon the logical reasoning sequences that can reshape the dynamics of worldwide social transformation. These are exciting times but they do not come without experiencing the discomfort of thought that accompanies intellectual and spiritual readjustment. As cosmic citizens, we must begin to rethink our definitions of God and the universe. We must uncover new meanings in our models of reality and integrate worldviews to overcome the fragmentation and loss of meaning that is plaguing our world as well as our personal lives.
My book aims to assist readers to navigate these times. In the meantime, share with me or others, one burning question that you may have about God. Asking a question is a powerful catalyst for personal transformation!

More and More
by Bruce Jackson
More and more God has patiently awaited my whole attention.
More and more have I found understanding in His small voice within.
More and more I look for my best intentions and my concentration.
More and more shall I seek out universal wisdom and the whole truth.
More and more will I endeavor to produce until i have passed.
More and more has my source of understanding found His way to me.
More and more my mind has grasped the meaning of His ministering words.
More and more we work together as a team to become better as we try to grow in effectiveness in our service to our God.

Development St. John of the Cross
by Bruce Jackson
Once I said to God, “How do you teach us?” And He replied,
“If You were Playing chess with someone who Had infinite power and infinite knowledge And wanted to make you a Master of the game.
Where would all the chess Pieces be at every Moment?
Indeed, not only where he wanted them, But where all were best for your development;
And that is every situation Of one’s life.”
