Starting a Prayer Hotline by Wisconsin Society

Wisconsin Society is hosting Alden Hughes to present his experience at creating and maintaining a prayer hotline. The Wisconsin Society has noted that Urantia Book readers often look for service projects which we can do for the general public. Alden will present enough information to pique your interest and answer some basic questions, then give you plenty of time to ask specific questions.
This will be a Zoom meeting on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. CST. Everyone is invited. You are encouraged to arrive before 7:00 p.m.

Goma Congo Urantia Conference Report 2021 by Paul Kemp This was entirely a Urantia Book introduction conference. Paid for by the Congo Urantia Book readers and 160 supporting organizations. Participants paid their own way. The building couldn’t hold everyone so many were standing outside the windows even in the rain. Spiritual Family Network raised funds and paid for the travel visa fees, transportation (600 miles, twelve hour drive), accommodations, and meals, for the four Uganda team of Urantia Book readers that went from Kampala, Uganda, to Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, to make Presentations and to provide eight PowerPoint Presentations. There were over 800 people at the Goma Congo Urantia Conference on the first day. See videos down the page here. I spoke with Bishop Moses after the first day of the Conference. The local Urantia Book readers are all pretty excited. Apparently the leader of a seminary came forward and offered them free office space in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, at her facility to support revelation outreach. She spoke fluent French and had already downloaded the French translations from our revelation website. Another woman named Mia who spoke French was determined to learn the English language to better understand the revelation. They will be forming and identifying the study groups, team leaders, and the Women’s Corps members, before the conference ends on December 17, 2020. They have 160 books now. For years now after reading that Jesus learned the Greek language using the Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures I have been promoting the idea of sending English teachers around the world trained to use the revelation as the primary text book. I believe that since the revelation was written in English it will eventually be the spoken language of every citizen of this world. A one world language. I believe in taking the long distance view and heading towards it by the acts of today. I am presently working with schools in Uganda that use the revelation as a foundation of learning to establish the truth postulates of cosmic consciousness. Several of the team leaders in Uganda have establishing schools as a future goal.

The Center for Unity is a live endeavor, and the concept has been changing and evolving. Seven years ago, I woke up and right before I opened my eyes, I saw the Sea of Galilee. While there was no doubt in my mind it was the Sea of Galilee, nothing else was clear.
Several months later, a friend from Switzerland came to visit and asked me to take her sightseeing around the Sea of Galilee. We went hiking around the Mount of Beatitudes and climbed a hill. When we reached the top, I was staring down at the Sea of Galilee, and it looked exactly as in my dream. That’s when a vague idea started to take place. I felt as if I wanted to do something in connection with the location of the Sea of Galilee but kept asking myself what my next step would be and I have been asking myself that question ever since. I would ask and then listen to see if I could get some clarity that might indicate that “this is the way.”
In 2016, the emerging idea of the Center for Unity was called Urantia Holy Land Pilgrim Center. It was to be a top-notch hotel and conference facility. By early 2017, the words “a temple for our Father” came to mind...

Tom Choquette Our spiritual journey begins with service, then leads to ministry, incorporates forgiveness, and leads to mercy, all of which lead to love, God’s love within us. And who amongst us does not love God?
To do the will of God invites the divine source of love to come live within. All love is from God and as we become that love that we’ve been gifted with, how can we not love that source of love within? The process of loving ourselves is in direct proportion to the amount of God’s love we allow inside, and share with others outside. We are told that we are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. This is a statement of fact which is repeated by Jesus, using modern phraseology, several times within our revelation. Let’s assume Jesus knew what he was talking about. It’s a very plain and simple request. The question is, how do we love ourselves? What are we missing? And why do we question what the Master has told us to do? How do we define love?...
